old motorcycles in old photo's

I am also in model t clubs and old truck clubs, both post pretty regular old photo's of street scenes in old America. Which I really enjoy, but I am very surprised. Because I almost never see old motorcycles in them, I know they were out there, being ridden. But they appear to be a rarely taken picture, wonder why that was ? thank heavens for this site ! as I love looking at the old two wheeler's :-)
