    HiYa, any J/JD Guru's know of a decent reprint shop/service manual that's available for early 1920's J/JD. Thanks. *M.A.D.

There's no real all in one shop manual for the JD. Try to find these:

    1)The Motorman Manual http://www.ebay.com/itm/1918-Harley-...wAAOSwA3dYJ4eM
    2) Parts book: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1909-1932-Ha...tXuxqF&vxp=mtr
    3) Rider's Handbook (this book has a cross section of the rear hub- only place I know): http://www.ebay.com/itm/1920s-Harley...JYIMH6&vxp=mtr
    4) Shop Dope 1
You might also find useful to find VL manual such as Slocombe restoraton book.
All the big picture Harley books- often very cheep at the swap meet tables- lots of pictures

Mark Masa has been preparing a JD manual for the last ten years or so, but it is yet to see the light of day. Ask him for the expected publication date.
