Hello,
I have a 1967 xlch. I was told this bike might have been a custom model produced by the factory. The bike has a speedometer/tachometer, a chrome oil tank, and a couple of other chrome pieces. Under the front seat mount is stamped H8. Was this frame produced in September 1968? This is my big question. The front forks have a taper on the end of the sliders like the 68 and 69 xlch have. Did the factory put a 68 front end on a 67 bike?
Can anyone give me some information about this motorcycle?
