This email is being sent by Karen and Rita, Earl Chalfant's daughters. We are
writing to the email addresses that appear in "The Antique Motorcycle" magazine,
Summer 2005 Vol. 44 No. 2.
Our parents moved to an assisted living facility last summer and now their home, the
remaining contents of dad's garages and dad's 1938 Indian Four motorcycle are for
sale at auction on June 11. We did not have details in time for the auction to be
advertised in the magazine, so we are contacting club members as best we can by
phone calls and emails to "get the word out."
You can find out more about the auction at www.bakerauctions.com. Click on
"calendar" and then select "Chalfant auction."
For those of you who knew our parents, we would like to let you know that Dad turned
82 in January and other than the memory loss he sustained in a stroke eleven years
ago, he is in good health. Our mother, Wavia, has been diagnosed with advanced
breast cancer last December, but she is still feeling well and has even helped
prepare for the auction.
