It looks like Villiers 9D 122cc 2-stroke engine/gearbox unit, James ML frame (1944-48) and much altered in lower engine mount area so engine could be upright instead of sloped. Custom rearward facing exhausts instead of forward and down into a cylindrical expansion chamber. front wheel and brake looks James ML, rear brake from something else???? front forks????. gas tank not James ML but probably from a late 1940s- early 50s James 98cc Comet.
