i have seen a couple of the old ones with the JAP motors - maybe two or three at rhinebeck a few years back. apparently you can get a new one with an s&s motor:

Driving..there was a '33 BSA factory racer at daytona,1 of 5 made.The guy said 2 others were in USA,I asked why he didn't have all 3...joking.He pulled up to me[same corner]the next year in a different one and said he had bought the other 2! The racers were real low and aluminum body.
