Identify this passenger assist spring assembly?

Most of you know I'm "chassis-challenged", so I beg identification of the assist-spring yoke in the attachment.

The dual centre mounting holes just screams 45 to me. The yoke looks the same as the one shown on page 452 of Palmers. Other than that I'm not much help ... Perry

Apparently the assembly fits both R and V series HD's.

The first three years of the W models as well. But if you plan on making it up Landmark Hill with the wife on the back, in third, you better stick to the VL.
