Some of you probably have already picked up on this ride from Facebook, but for those who haven't, I've been riding across the country on my '33 VL since 9/19. Joining me on this trip is a good friend of mine from high school who is riding a '34 VLD. We started on the coast of NC and are headed for the Pacific. You can follow along with the trip on www.ridingvintage.com if interested. I manage an update every couple days based on available internet access at the campgrounds. Plenty of pics and short stories from the road.

Really glad you guys are having a glorious September and moderate early October for your ride over Wolf Creek Pass ! August, 18 2014, we rode Wolf Creek, wet, rainy and in the 50's. Mt. Evans was closed Aug.22 due 38 degree temps and snow. 2014 was an extraordinary wet and cool year all over Colorado. Best of the best for the remainder of your journey ! Rocky Mtn weather in Sept can be not very predictableSteve Swan
