I have a few bikes from the 30's and therefore am looking through all my orginal Shop Dope and those that have bee republished by Antique Motorcycle Supply and Harley-Davidson. If you have any of the following would you please post the date and subject title? Thanks. Here are what I'm missing: 48, 53, 66, 70, 72, 81, 86, 91, 94, 99, 100, 102, 103, 104, 105, 108, 109, & 110.

          I have the following sheets,
          102 Dec 26 1932
          103 Jan 9 1933
          104 Dec 26 1932
          105 Aug 4 1933 (two pages)
107 Jan 5 1934 which is different than the common 107 from Dec 11 1933
I may have others but haven't looked too deeply into my piles.
There are also odd numbered sheets mixed in the timeline and it is obvious that the numbering was not consistent. I also have a few with no numbers at all. Some of the missing numbers are dealer announcements telling of a new service began or an old service no longer offered, so they do not appear in the reprint collections as they offer no service information.

William, I want to thank you for your time and effort on finding and typing in your reply to my question. Unfortunately it's not exactly what I'm looking for. As I posted I'm looking for Shop Dope from the 30's and it looks like Harley started to renumber their technical information when they went from Service Dept. Bulletin's to Shop Dope. Apologize that my posting wasn't clear enough. Here's where Shop Dope that I have begin to talk about the bike's (specifically VL) in the 30's:

              Lippy,
You are welcome. Wished it could have been more helpful. I have limited info (H-D data reprinted by the MoCo and Shop Dope Vol. 1 - 4 by Antique Cycle Supply). Your data is not lining up with what I have. Was wondering if your S/D info is a collective document or are these individual service bulletins? Maybe other folks can fill in the gap for you.

Those are the ones published by Antique Cycle Supply. They are missing a lot of issues.
H-D reprinted Shop Dopes in book form a few, maybe quite and few, years ago. Contact the Service department at The MoCo and see if they are still available.

Timing of the 1931-36 VL constant mesh kick starter is done by fitting the lowest tooth on the kicker quadrant gear between the two marked teeth on the starter clutch with the kicker in the vertical rest position.

Chris - I have the same manual and several others.

Steve - I timed the starer last night. Once the side cover is off - very apparent. Thanks.
