Thanks to all involved in putting on the first National Winter Meet in Le Mars. We had a great time. Small meets are the best. What the lack in quantity, they more than make up for in quality. You have more time to spend talking to other enthusiasts and studying the bikes on display. Mark LeFluer from eastern SODAK was the only one brave (crazy) enough to ride to the meet, 140 miles round trip in sleet and rain on his Indian sidecan rig. We drove up from Redfield IA, cozy in the truck. Had such a nice talk with everyone I decided to join the chapter. Look forward to more fun. Just getting to meet and learn from Howard W. made it worth the trip. I'm not sure he liked it when I drooled on his Scout, but oh well (ha,ha).
