  • Can anyone help with an ID on this bike???

I am trying to get a better photo and some background on the rider. But it's a friend's great uncle in the early 1920's. I "think" the plate may be Virginia 1923. But not sure. There 'may' be some tank logo visible, but I can't make it out.

My guess, based on the front muffler, is something European or English.

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers,

    Sirhr

I think it is a '20 to mid '20s Cleveland 2 stroke. Mostly because of the distinctive Cleveland feature of the lower frame tube that bisects the engine.

      Eric's right on the button.
      It's definitely a Cleveland 2 stroke

1923 Cleveland... Damn Eric you have an amazing eye.

I think that looks like a winner...
