  • Indian Harley Vintage Club (NSW) Australia

Just thought that those in other countries may be interested some of what goes on here.

    Check the GALLERY > SLIDESHOW

The gallery gives you some idea of the motorcycles that we enjoy and ride. Many of the photos come from the Snowy Mountains (the NSW high country) and the Victorian high country. Kilometres of good climbs, bends and high plains enjoyed by a great collection of lunatics.

Thank you, and one of a number of enthusiastic Oz old bike clubs. Why are some of them not AMCA Chapters?

      Steve,
I don't know about Australia but we looked at starting a Chapter here in NZ and it just doesn't pass our laws.
All clubs in NZ are governed by the "Incorporated Societies Act" and as such have to, as one of their requirements, produce a yearly audited balance sheet.
If they are part of a tiered organisation then the parent body also has to submit an audited yearly balance sheet as well and we were told there was no way the AMCA Board was going to do that, so game over.
This is just one of many requirements of the act that make a NZ chapter of the AMCA impossible here in NZ.
Yearly elections of Club Officers is another and that also applies to all tiers of the organisation.
