I probably can't afford it but I was wondering if there is anyone or a group that will be shipping their bikes to Europe for the International Meet in Raalte? Any information on shipping there and shipping back? Is anyone filling a container?

Great idea as part of your European vacation. Our European members shipped bikes over for the Cannonball so it must be possible to make the reverse trip. I'll check with our Dutch meet organisers, and also see if we can find any loaner bikes for our US members.

Ive shipped my bikes to eruope several times. lufthansa freight seems the cheapest, gets it there in 3-5 days, depending on customs delays.
getting it out of customs in germany is easy. last time I did it was about 1200 one way.
if you are not in a hurry, stefan knopf is near heidelberg, & does containers for daytona bike week, and he gets the bikes thru customs & in his warehouse in germany.
knopftours.com is his website, if I remember right.

Found out last week at the Toronto Motorcycle show that Air Canada Cargo will take a motorcycle from Toronto or Montreal to London, England or Brussels, Belgium one way for $700 (Canadian) plus the rider's ticket on Air Canada. Bike can be on the same plane as the rider.
Details from Air Canada Cargo at Toronto 1(800)387-4865 or Montreal 1(800) 361-2159. Return fare the same.
Brussels is about 170 miles from Raalte.
