    Well Folks,

They didn't care to retain me as a consultant; Their loss, not mine!

Tedd has agreed to remove the photos from their website, and from future catalogs, but how many thousands have they already distributed?

I still wish to seek redress.

Is the AMCA Consumer Affairs function for real?

I knew it was only a matter of time, Folks,...

A fellow sent me an M74B that he had Tedd's "rebuild", but couldn't tune at all.

Aside from all of the other horribly amateurish aspects of the work, the bore was oversized, but the rough-blasted original throttledisc was used.

        Duh.

I just received in a Royce Carburetter for rebuild. The shop that sent it to us was really helpful and bead blasted the whole thing inside and out... before dismantling it. I guess they wanted to make sure they sent it clean.... I will be able to save it. But someone's gonna pay the stupid tax on this one.

This isn't the carb... this is one we rebuilt that sold a while ago at an auction. Now picture it helpfully bead blasted. Yes, that included the extra air valve (kind of like an SU Dash Pot). Did I mention the stupid tax?

Not all butchers cut meat, Cotten. But it's what keeps us busy...

          Cheers,

          Sirhr

Just a public service update Folks,

Not about Tedd's violation upon me, but my customer.

His original spares arrived, which at least Tedd's returned to him.
Much of it still has what I would call 'museum-grade' cadmium.

It appears they basically soaked him for every cheesy part they could pull out of inventory, rather than service (or even just clean) the good stuff.

PS: Although it was new in September, the float already wouldn't come out of the bowl: attached.

Not sure I understand your question, Rob...

If the float swells up, not only will it not come back out of the bowl, but it can stick on the side of the bowl to make a flood.
I am certain many of you experienced this with original OEM "Armstrong" floats.
(Attached are two other modern productions, one a prominent Indian supplier, and the other producer has admittedly flooded the market with 10,000.)

PS: My own productions prior to June of '08 have also suffered, and I replace them free of charge with the latest material.
