Interesting you would say that Cory as I did an interview with Cycle Canada yesterday and they remember doing a story on the 38 Jr scout. The 80 MPH record for Vintage Gas lasted several years until a better engine design beat it out. Remember we only run flatheads. It was quite a story to make a junior scout go a 100 MPH on dryland. Folks have to remember that you lose 20% of performance at Bonneville because of the heat and specifically the high elevation. If we have room which is doubtful we talked about maybe bringing it along. What we want to do is talk our friend to bring Klamforth's Manx that won Daytona in I think 1952.It's fully restored and is in Winnipeg and Ted would love to run it in the "Run what you Brung" category. The 1948 HD flathead will be there for sure but who knows what else we may show up with. Stay tuned. Hey Cory...wanna come to Bonneville?
