  • Mecum MC Auctions Houston auction... in Technicolor?

    http://www.mecum.com/auctions/consig...TION_ID=HM0414

Mecum's auction catalog posted. From what I have seen, this may be the first Televised Motorcycle auction. Mecum has done lots of TV musclecar and general auctions, but not MC stuff. Typically, the television factor adds some interesting dynamics, especially in the 'my Schwartz is bigger than your Schwartz" out of control bids. May not happen 'first year' but we'll see.

Very interesting to see that MC auctions are now starting to go prime time. Watch and enjoy... I'll be on the sidelines trying to come up with suitably snide remarks. And trying not to jump in on some bottom feeding bikes I don't need but when has that ever stopped an enthusiast destined to end up on one of those Hoarder shows in which I can't get to my bathroom because there's a Vespa in the way.

    Cheers,

    Sirhr

's'okay, sihr, I feel your pain. Park that vespa where-ever, and just give it a little push, or maybe pee in the tank.

This isn't a Vespa, but might help with your space problem. Send me the engine first. Lambretta-Scooter-Toilet.jpg

From Mecum Jan. 8-10 Auction will only be live on a webcast on Mecum.com. NBC Sports Network is taping some portions for a show at a later date.
