When I read about the opoc engine several years ago it was being tested in Germany, with most success in the 2-stroke diesel.
Cool part was seeing 2 pistons meeting at the tops of their compression strokes, which I'd seen in big power-plant diesels, 7-cyl/14 pistons/2 cranks/2 flywheels
