I have a guy in England who makes all that kind of stuff. Company is called Genius of the Lamp. Talk to "Raj." They do all that kind of metal spinning and silvering, etc. Great, great folks.

They have a Web site, BTW. You can google it. There are some companies in the US that do it, but I have found their turnaround is just terrible. Raj sets you up in a few days.

    Cheers,

    Sirhr

If the lamp originally had a curved glass "Mangin" mirror a good substitute might be a large "watch glass" from a laboratory supply company which could be "silvered". Watch glasses come in various diameters, available from laboratory glass supply companies or clock parts companies.
If it is the lens you need, the same thing might be used or a clock repairer might have something that large.

Added Dec. 31/13 - A local Lab supply company lists 6" Pyrex watch glasses with fire-polished edges at about $10 each. 4" and 5" are some what less in cost.

I use LED bicycle lights inside both acetylene head and tail lights where a jurisdiction requires "lights-on in daytime" for all motorcycles on the road.

Those are great suggestions AFJ. I have a gas light I want to use and I had planned on LED lighting which gives you more options for the reflector.
