  • Unknown Bearing Race

Can anyone tell me what this bearing race fits? It was in with HD parts.
    Thanks in advance.

Hard to scale at that angle, but it looks like a 1937 to 1939 WL 45" right motor case race to me. roughly same shape as the afore mentioned transmission countershaft case bushing but larger. Shelby

That is a one year only crankcase race for 38 or 39 WL/G. I cannot remember the year for sure but it should be easy to sort out with a good parts book on early WL's. It has a bigger od than the typical WL race.

To be as accurate as possible Part # 413-37A right case race was used on 1937 45's with motor number 1223 and up, and all 1938 45's. It was replaced with 413-39A for 1939 and up using the through hole design adapted by all big twins in 1940 and up for line lapping. Shelby
