Headlight ID Needed

Can someone tell me what this headlight fits? I've been told that it is an Indian headlight and I've also been told that this is a 1948 only HARLEY headlight. It looks somewhat like a cycle-ray but is sealed beam unit, is a bit more blunt on the back side and does not have the Guide logo stamped on the rear tip.

I am not an expert but it could be a 1948 Chief headlight or it could be an early aftermarket piece I believe that was sold by Beck. They are a perfect fit - I have run both kinds for years on my bikes. It is definitely not an OEM Harley piece. Jerry
