    hello,

My name is Alfred Pryszlak I am Polish and I live there.

I have couple of yours books but could not find more information about military models.

I have bought Last year Indian motorcyckle model CD0 (military) with matching serial number 3114 and I am looking for some more information about correct restoration.

Specially what paint to be used and what coating on what bolt and nuts to be done.

    Sorry I bother you,

    thank you and regards

    Alfred

I wonder if the book An American in Paris by Martin Bogaert (ISBN 90-805639-3-3) would help him out? I've never seen it, it's out of print, and I wonder if it's more of a history than a book that contains restoration details... but it is a book about the Indian model 340 sold to European armies... e.g. the French army. Anybody have that book, does it give restoration details?

I bought the book - it is a very good record of military indians, lots of photo's, not really how to restore but could use to restore colours and markings.
I have emailed martin and he still has copies for sale - just google an american in paris and contact through there

There is a complete original with sidecar in the military museum at Camp Shilo in Manitoba Canada. I'm not sure how one would contact them but with computers they might be of assistance.
