Della Crewe Tours North and South America with Only Her Dog

Born in 1884, Ms Della Crewe came of age at a time when adventure was left to the men and women stayed home to raise the kids. This was not going to be her lot in life and she was well traveled before purchasing her first motorcycle in 1914. Soon after she left on what became an 11,000 mile trip with her dog, Trouble, beside her in a sidecar entire way.

Because in 1927 she found a man with a strong stomach and got laid ( Or meet another woman an lived out the rest of her life demanding same sex marriage). She soon discovered it was a whole lot more fun than driving her mutt around in 0 degree weather. Just my take. Bob L
