For those that have not looked at the Cherokee Chapter Website, you will see a great improvement over most sites, Our Chapter is expanding and the number of existing AMCA members that are joining us is also growing. We have been attending a lot of Non AMCA events with our Meet and Greet booth. Even I was surprised how many people with old motorcycles are looking for a social setting to meet enthusists in their area or events they attend. Gearheads love things mechanical, and a display of old motorcycles brings out the stories of the old motorcycles in the shed, barn or garage, for lack of a few parts could be back on the road. The local Chapters are the best way to reach out to people that do not go to national events too far away. Watch for a even larger website next year as we cover more non AMCA events close to Texas.

It should be stated that We have signed up a large number of new and former AMCA Members to the National Club and have encouraged these members to travel to both types of Venues

The Cherokee Chapter Webmaster has done a great job of putting a great number of pictures and videos of intrest to all AMCA members. Because so many Cherokee Members are involved in the 2014 Cannonball in Sept., from Daytona Beach to Tacoma, Washington, more will be added to keep up with it, as well as Vintage Motorcycle Racing at Little River Raceway, and Bonneville land speed attempts, as well as articles on members restorations and projects. We will be attending events many states with our "Meet and Greet Booths and Displays". Details on website www.cherokeeamca.org

Online sign-up makes it easy to join our Chapter in South Central USA. Shelby, Membership/Events Director

The Cherokee Chapter website has now been active for about 9 months, and it is a roaring success. We are consistently getting over 50% new visitors per week proving that out Reach Out program across the country has worked better than we had hoped. The Entire Chapter is behind our efforts to show the Cherokee Chapter can operate as a Member Centered Chapter with our efforts as a Board to bring Honor and Service to our members. We are trying to make it fun to be a member of the Cherokee Chapter, with events, pictures, wonderful Newsletters, and making friends where ever we go with our Meet and Greets, Road Runs, and Bike Shows.

New members keep signing up online as a direct result

Greg McFarland, VP and Webmaster should be very proud of his tireless work to make this Website enjoyable for all. Keep sending in Greg pictures of events, past and present, topics for the Blog, Progress on Builds and new additions to the collections. Working with Doug May, website designer, we could not be happier with the effort so far.

Our Website and our Chapter are doing very well. The Kerrville National Road Run hosted by the Cherokee Chapter generated a lot of traffic on website under Blog and Gallery sections, over a Thousand Pictures have been turn in to us from all those who shared a great time.

Greg tried his hand at Helmet Cam to music on the run. and the results were unbelievable. Just a Taste of what over 170 riders enjoyed with just 3 break downs that required trailer.

We can not believe how much traffic our website is generating with Florida in March and now Road Run in April. Signed up 14 new members last two weeks, thanks to all the AMCA members for making us their choice to support with your membership to our Chapter. We will hit 200 Members very soon. Our Reach Out program is working so Great, a few National Board Members are worried We are becoming too strong with our AMCA and Non AMCA events. Give me my 6 Magazines, and stay out of our way. We are building relationships with other Vintage Groups and are expanding where at the National level others have failed.

Thanks for your emails to the Chapter, we are trying our best and it shows. Special thanks to Doug May and Greg McFarland for their tireless work for the Chapter Website. Shelby Withrow, Membership and Events Director, Cherokee Chapter.
