    Motorcycles Join the US Cavalry

    In 1931, the US Army formed the Mechanized Force which was a new motorized cavalry regiment designed to take the place of horses in combat. An article by Popular Science described the motorcycles' role as "spitting death from machine guns." Looks to me like it would be tough to ride and aim at the same time...

          More pictures of guys on military bikes would be great! Military HD's and Indians are much more in demand at this time and finally getting serious respect in the antique community.
