A real big Thank You to the Evergreen Chapter for a spectacular event, Aug. 4-7 Ride the Rim of Fire II. Mike Brown and crew put together another first rate Road Run. 3 meals a day, a great resort venue, and some really great scenery with Mt.Rainer and Mt. St.Helens as the highlites of the Natl.Parks Volcanoes. Great weather, lots of riders (about 60 bikes), including people from as far away as Germany, Hawaii, Canada, Montana, Idaho, NorCal, and SoCal, and probably a few places I may have missed. Too bad there wasn't any Board members, as there usually is one or two. However, there were several west coast riders that I have seen at many of the various events over the years including a large contingent of Laughing Indian Riders. I had a really great time and just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the fun. Roger Herbison
