As to the heat, I saved myself with a bucket of ice water and a cold wet towel. Also (more critical) we used a 3-wheeled cart with an umbrella, and as I am recovering from back surgery, and one of my friends wears a wooden leg, we are certified CRIPPLES, and couldn't enjoy that meet without those things that overcome the discomforts. .. Takes a lot of good planning and execution to best enjoy these meets. Water and spark are essentials.
Cheers to all who made it possible!

Congratulation to everyone involved in making this year’s event a wonderful weekend even in the smoldering heat. As always there where plenty of things to see and do. I really enjoyed all the different educational seminars.
Anyone remember the name of the gentleman who was nice enough to bring this piece of history out for us all to see and learn about?

I cannot remember the gentleman's name. However he won numerous awards in the judging circle. Oldest bike, and most rare at the meet. Very cool he brought to share with everyone. Great meet once again, cannot wait until next year.Originally posted by Ohio-Rider View PostCongratulation to everyone involved in making this year’s event a wonderful weekend even in the smoldering heat.
