  • new movie - The Motorcycle Diaries - 39 Norton500 and a 49 ES2

Looks like an interesting new M/C movie coming out soon.
Documenting the earily life of Che Guevara, 1952. Cuban revolutionary.
    Shot in South America.

I have a local friend working on a Norton ES2. So I'm interested.

Is Redford looking for interesting American stories of earily M/C travels of some American guys before they became famous? He should ask the club we could give him a few ideas.

We could use a "board track racing" movie. That's the hot ticket!

For a while now I've thought that someone should do a version of "Bert Wilson's Twin Cylinder Racer" of the old 1913 youth novel that I have. Of course it might be slightly cheesey, but that's what we've laughed about after reading the book! Anyone willing to contribute to get it made?????

Anybody remember the name of the old movie, British made, it was a story revolving around class A speedway racers?

Around 1920 Chicago. It's not Daytona. Rope tow starts and blow'in heavy oil on the track. cut barrels? Really something to see this footage - shot very well, very smooth, good exposure, captures human drama, etc.

Saw my friends 1957 ES2 the other night - looks/sounds great.
