    What is this?

    Does anyone know what this bracket is for or fits? I have 2 which came in a parts lot several years ago and have searched all my parts catalogs with no luck. The two slotted mounts are 8"L x 3/4"W x 1/4"D and spaced 3-3/16" apart. The round stock is 1/2" dia. Thought I would throw this out and see what came back!

    Looks to me to be some sort of univeral back rest thing that mounts to the swing arm fender struts. That would be my guess.

        Rollo, I thought the same; but, then it seems to narrow . This thing has stumped me for a few years!

        Pierce, You may be right. . . . finding an old catalog to determine is gonna be tough!
