  • Photobucket?

Anybody else having problems with Photobucket?
I can no longer copy & paste photos from there, don't know if they've changed something or what.
Even when emailing a photo from there to my account, it shows up on the Photobucket form and still won't allow copy & paste.
Might be my computer, I can screw it up quicker than most folks.

I've never been able to get Photobucket to work on this site... I just use the upload tool here.

    I'd much rather use PB.

That said, I used it on another site just a few minutes ago and it worked fine. They use the same software as this forum.

    Cheers,

They have changed things at Photobucket and it's a bit harder to find the IMG code to copy, but it's still there. I think it's the mission of all computer jockeys to constantly justify their existance to their bosses by changing things that work. That way, we always need them.

seems to me photobucket makes a lot of changes. their site looks different every time i log on. yahoo made a change also i cant just copy and paste ebay links anymore. plus photobucket wants me to go pro and pay. the last few days of the month they deactivate my account. i may not be using any host site in the future.

Damn, Eric... took me a moment to notice that there was a motorcycle in that picture!

I believe the Excelsior is a 1917, and it looks as fresh as the girls. I say '17 because it has the big tank decal, and the standard fork. It could be an '18, but it's not a '19, or a '16. How's that for decisive

Rich, they definitely have made some changes... just run the pointer on your mouse over the worn out sprocket looking thingy. A drop down menu will appear. Click "Get Links", another menu will appear. Go to the bottom of it and click IMG codes. It will automatically copy it for you. Then simply go to whatever thread you are posting to and click paste.

              Cool 1917-ish Excelsior shot Eric!!!!

Thanks Cory, but color me stoopid again...
Found the IMG code but don't know what to do with it. In the past when trying to use it elsewhere, got the "code" only.

It just got worse...NOW I can't find the IMG code OR the sprocket.

Mmmm.... when you left click on the IMG code it should quickly flash that the image is copied and then when you come to the forum it should just be a right click on the mouse and paste your done. I've had times when photobucket was so painfully slow that it wasn't worth messing with. Most of the time it is fine though.

OK, finally found the sprocket and the IMG but when I right click it I get this:

and no photo. Must still be doing something wrong.

Anyone else notice that there's no headlight on the Ex? At least, I hope not!

You can just see the rim of the headlight by her left thumb. That is a full electric Excelsior with the super rare Midco/Teagle/Remy power unit.
