  • Harley Model TA

I scrapped together some information on the TA from various sources online and in print. Not much that I could find, but I think I covered the major design points.

To those who mite know:- That TA is an interesting trike. In looking at the pic of it, I was trying to figure out how they converted the trans to shaft drive. To me, it looks like a pinion carrier was adapted to the rear of the trans housing. Did that mean a crown gear was configured to the main drive gear? There apears to be a rouned larger diameter cast in part on the left side of the the trans casting to acomodate the crown gear. Anybody have some info on the changes to the trans that had to be done for shaft drive?...thanks...
