I received the following information about the recent theft of an Indian Sidecar owned by long time AMCA member Bud Cox (Old Sage):
"Hello, my Dad is Bud Cox (Old Sage) Wichita Kansas. Could you alert the members to be on the lookout for a 1940's yellow Indian Sidecar which was stolen from my Dad over Thanksgiving. Someone broke into his storage shed by cutting a hole in the side of the building in Wichita KS. A police report was filed. Just the Sidecar was stolen. Luckily, the Indian was stored elsewhere. If anyone has any information, they can contact me at Scox9@cox.net or call me at 316-207-8200."
Let's keep our eyes open for this sidecar on eBay, swap meets or trade publications. Or just word of mouth. Hopefully the local police can track down these lowly thieves. Probably someone locally who was targeting this Indian rig. Glad they didn't get the bike too.
