    Being as the discussion was VIN Numbers and that the "S" or "F" was not the last digit stamped on a case between 1936 and 1964 they shouldn't be mentioned in a discussion about VIN Numbers. Like the guy who reads the MoCo's production figures and finds that only 63 FLH models were produced in 1955. So he is ecstatic to have such a rare machine. Of course he never bothered to read that they produced 1,040 FLHF models that year. Yet he wonders why he has never seen a 1955 FLHF if there were 16 produced for every FLH?
