Neat story. I am lucky -- I never got rid of my first bike. My dad and I built it when I was 13 out of plans in Popular Mechanics.

Love stories like that, I had to buy my first bike back just because of the memories. Honda cb125 it was. I still have my first harley which now has a personal story and will never leave my possession. At least not by me.

Wish I had my first one back....'51 Chief. Paid $75 for it, rode it for a year, sold it for $75.
