What is with this Cornerstone Registration LTD? I went into my wallet to night to put my new insurance card in and happened to pull out my AMCA card. It expired on the 20th. No mail notice, no e-mail notice, No nothing. It beats the shiit out of me why the governing board continues to employ these people, anyone else gone through this lately? Bob L

You want to try renewing from the other side of the world, it's a real pain and something needs to be done about it.

I did the 3-yr renewal, so I'll be 3 times as clue-less when I get there!
hope they give notices by that time.

They told me I had to renew for 3 years to get a plastic card. So I did. I still got a paper card.

That's weird Chris. I renewed for 3 years and got the plastic card and got a sticker for the back this year with the updated road runs. I have noticed that my magazine shows up much later than it used to though. I really feel for folks like Tommo who have more problems with getting what his membership dues pay for.

I also upped for three years tonight, just got to sit back and wait for my toaster oven to show up. The problem really comes into play if you’re a vender. Imagine losing your space because your membership expired and you didn’t even know it. Bob L

                        Hi Robert.

Membership renewal notices are sent with the magazine. They are not mailed out separately. You should have received a renewal notice with your Summer 2012 issue and your Fall 2012 issue. It would have been an insert outside of the magazine but included in the plastic wrapping. If this was not the case, then please let me know by reply post. If it wasn't included, then we have an issue with the printing/mailing company who is supposed to do this.

Lastly, just for everyone's information, if a membership isn't renewed and lapses, Cornerstone does send out an expiration notice via postcard to the member.

                          Hi Chris.

I'm sorry to hear you received a paper membership card instead of a plastic one. In looking at your membership history, it appears we did mail you a plastic card back in December 2011, but you contacted my office in January 2012 to say you never received it. An operator here at Cornerstone incorrectly put in an order for a PAPER membership card instead of a plastic one. I have now put in an order for a replacement PLASTIC membership card for you. You should receive this in the mail in about 10 business days.
