There's quite a bit of coverage out there but I looked forward to Bill's reports the most.

    Rewind to Iowa...

Jeff Alperin's morning start on stage 6

It looks like it was a little cool in the morning in Yellowstone!!!

We'll miss your reporting Bill, and I hope everything works out at home. Here's a blog from Pete and Tina Reeves riding as number 34 on his 1929 Harley JD, and so far he's done all the miles. Keep it up Pete! He's our European Deputy Judge, and riding an AMCA judged bike to show our Club is not just about trailer queens.

Fatigue must be setting in, the bloggers aren't updating as often.

As most of you know, I've had to leave the Cannonball to attend to a family emergency (thanks for all the kind thoughts). But I still have access to a fair amount of information that I gathered before leaving, and sources still on the ride. So I'm trying to put together some posts that give you a little background on what you're seeing in the results. The first of those is going up tonight in the AMCA website News area: http://www.antiquemotorcycle.org/index.php?page=news I'll add what I can as time permits.

Well isn't that something. It sounds as though you've had a lot to contend with and are still keeping us up to date. Thanks Bill!!

Cory. We've never met, but your common sense ( not so common ) still prevails. I agree , Bill U R D Man as my grandson would say. If there is a 3rd Cannonball I will Be there.More importantly is your dedication. In my world that is tops.

Thanks Ross. I try to use some sense for the most part... and your grandson has it right.

I was able to post an update last night with some thoughts from watching the Cannonball machines on the road (some of these bikes move along really well). You can find it at: http://www.antiquemotorcycle.org/ind...t01returnid=97

I'm working on some updates on the scoring going into the final days, and I hope to have that up later today.

I'd also like to know the Cotati convention location, have brothers and sisters in the area(s).
I don't think they were mentioned in the previews.

                            • Cory, I know my "computer time" really increases with the cannon ball going on now, I find myself jumping from site to site looking for any scraps of information to hold me over. When you posted this, I had to look at the film of stage 2 again when they were leaving Wellsboro that morning. I found the back of myself shooting some photos when I was there when they were comming up on the hill going around a curve......the daughter is right...........I am getting greyer on top

                              • San Francisco

They will be arriving at Dudley Perkins H-D dealership in South San Francisco around 1:00 p.m. Sunday. They will have a reception at Michael's H-D dealership in Cotati starting at 1:00 p.m. Saturday. Members of the San Francisco m/c club, Yerba Buena chapter, and the Fort Sutter chapter (both AMCA) will be their escorts across the golden gate bridge and down to Dudley Perkins. We can hardly wait. Knuckle's packed and headed down the driveway within the hour.
