Just got home and will be off to bed. Davenport is still awesome. Some noticeable vendors missing but many new ones. The swap meet was in full swing on the Thursday and the Friday but with the reports of bad weather for Saturday almost everyone had left...so really it was a 2 day meet. many great bikes on display and I spent lots on parts. Even found a new old stock foot pedal and rubber for my 1915 cleveland. (that in itself made it a success for me)Very hot on the first two days but as always everyone was friendly and the volunteer group of Blackhack folks did an outstanding job. My only complaint was having a comedian at the banquet instead of a motorcycle themed presentation. I almost left. The food was great as usual.I WILL NEVER MISS DAVENPORT NO MATTER WHAT THE POLITICAL OR WEATHER CLIMATE.
