Can any scooter guys ID this chassis?

Picked this scooter up at auction and would like to ID it. Neck support should help as it is unusual. I have an idea but would like photo or literature to confirm.

Had quite a few Cushman collecters check it out with no clue. Motor is a Lauson, type TLC 316 which was only made for the Salsbury model 74 scooter according to what info I could find on the Internet. Made between 1943-45. But I cannot find any photos or drawings to confirm.

It does look like an undressed Salsbury scooter to me. There has to be a number stamped on it, somewhere.

After a few emails and hours online I had a guy Id it as a Gest scooter made in Phila. Pa around 1945. gest_004.jpg

This appears to be the type of motor that was used on older washing machines. I bought a kick start motor like this about 1950, in Oregon, and tried to put it on a "go cart." I was 8.
