  • Packen for Dixon, Ca. meet

Will be packing the parts up for the Dixon Ca. meet the next two days. Put a MOTOR on the swap meet trailer today, NOW maybe I will get better gas mileage. I can put 4,000 lbs. in this trailer and have many time. We had it up to 92 mph one time coming home from Denver Co. meet. It has bigger brakes than the truck. Check that fuel guage out in the gas tank. I seen one of those sell on e-bay for $750 cazy price, but money is no good, PARTS are KING
Here are a few pictures of the parts going in the trailer. NEXT stop Dixon, Ca. It's is going to be 97 Saturday.

Now it going to be 91 on thru. 92 on fri. and 102 on Sat. Sounds like Davenport last year. Come early or late or anytime you can get there. The meet is over because of the heat by 2 sat.

B.S. It'll be low 90's all the way. I've lived here since 1975 and it ain't never been 102 in early June. Now July , August , or September's another thing all together. That's why we have all those big shade tree's on the main field, insurance. See ya there!

I just looked it up on wunderground.com weather report. May be you should call them and tell them they are B.S. You know how those weathermen lie just to be BIG Shots. Love those big shade tree's. See ya there.

Terry, what is the deal on those tanks? I assume those bungs on the right side tanks are home-made, and is that a gas level on the front bung?

Eric, the tank gauge is after market from the time. They move the filler back and put the gas gauge in the front hole. Very rare part. Only see one other one and it was on Fee-BAy for way to much. I have seen them in the books.

That gas gauge is from a Model A Ford.

Good eye,Chris, they made them for Model A Ford's and they also offered them for motorcycles. You can buy these new, $36 They fit 1928-31 Ford's. All you have to do to make them fit a bike is shorten the rod for the float.
