I took my 1929 JDH to the AMCA Rhinebeck, NY met this weekend and rode it around a bit until the fuel line cracked. I enjoy riding it but not when it is flowing raw gas directly onto the generator. I did eventually fix it when I got home, but that is a different story.
While I had the bike parked in front of my Cannonball partner Paul Ousey's rig a lot of people stopped by to check it out and visit, including musician Billy Joel. I took a photo but missed the opportunity to ask him if he'd be interested in sponsoring a Motorcycle Cannonball team. Oh well.
