Makes me wish I had an attic that one of these would fit in or a barn to go look and see what is under the tarps.

Extraordinarily nice bike. It would be really cool to hear it run!

Watching the American Pickers last night. THey pulled one of the Curtis engines from some hobos lair in southern Illinois along with a Excelcisor frame and related parts less engine, an Indian engine and transmission. Their show makes me want to do the same cause there still ahs got to be a lot of these "barn" finds out there.

Can't remember the name of the fellows shop the Excelsior items and the Curtis engine was dropped off at. Anyone know what they ended up doing with what they found from the show? Not certain when it was recorded.

heard the curtis motor was sold to vince martinico and he was building a bike around it. one problem with the motor... someone shaved off the "curtis" emboss.
