  • 1919 Lake

Dear All, I've just found a brochure from about 1919/20 for a Lake V-Twin motor built in Milwaukee. I'll get it digitised for the Virtual Library, but has anyone else heard of this make?

Yes Seems to me there might have been one at Davenport a couple of years ago. It was blue and I might have a picture of it. Jerry

Steve! That would be a great brochure to see. I don't believe the Lake engine was originally designed for a motorcycle but Jerry is right, a blue one does exist!

Cory the back ground in that picture seems real familiar.
Can you say where and who owned it at the time?

            Jim,

I can't speak for where the photos were taken but I'm pretty sure the bike belongs or did anyway to Jeff Haberman in Wisconsin.
