we wont be posting a list of the overnight hotel stops for the cannonball until june. at that time we will put a list of locations and dates up on the website. we'll also have a list of promoted stops at museums, harley dealers, and other attractions.

anymore news on this? I had planned on picking them up in Milwaukee and follow to spirit Lake. Would it be inappropriate to try to stay at the same hotels/motels as the riders?

Ah, I remember the old stories of bikers rebuilding their machines in a motel room overnight, and leaving the next morning. :-)

Anyone is welcome to stay at the same hotels as the Cannonball group if you can find a room. Most of our hotels have been fully booked. We will be at the Doubletree downtown in Milwaukee. In anamosa, we are at the Americinn and the Super 8, and in Spirit Lake, the Inn at Okiboji, which is right on the lake.

The first night is at the Penn Well Hotel and Motor Lodge in Wellsboro Pa. There were a few rooms left about 2 weeks ago.

                Hello all

Just borrowing this thread. thank you.
Went for my last ride prior to the Cannonball Run, 140miles round trip, from sea level to 3400ft and back
A little bit of everything, city riding, freeway, and some beautiful up and downhill canyon riding.
Bike looks a little tired but it performed--- ok.
Just a few little things to do, and maybe a short ride to check different gearing and then it's off to Newburg.
All being well, look forward to seeing everyone at the start and a long the way.
                Victor

#52 here, Victor. I hope to meet you in Newburgh. I don't do Facebook much myself. The forum here has more traffic on the Cannonball than the one on the Cannonball site itself. Most of what I read from other riders comes from their blog pages, as listed on the Cannonball site.

I'm leaving my home in Santa Cruz, CA on August 31st in my Sprinter van (see my blog for more about this, in my sig) and hope to arrive in NY on September 3rd. I'm staying with some friends in Amenia, not too far away.

Anyone have any information on where the cannonballers will be stopping in Sandusky Oh.? I'd like to meet a few of you guys, but can't seem to find out where you are all stopping at. Couldn't find that info at the cannonball site.
