Functional Works of Art? weren't they wiped out by Hurrican Katrina, and rebuilt from nothing?

I think there was a big article about them a few years ago in the Robb Report "motorcycles" special issue? I remember buying a copy at an airport out of curiosity and this rang a bell.

      Cheers,

They are serious high performance minded machines. Looks come secondary.

Ah! Just wondering if you guys knew about them... I was part of their team before I joined the Museum. Katrina took them out and they moved here to Birmingham. Mr. Barber leased them a building to get back on their feet. For free... I worked with my great friend Jason Reddick to build the Hellcat and Wraith. I was honored to build the first production Wraith, serial number 001. We shiped it to some nut in Russia. Bradd Pitt and Tom Cruise have a few.. As well as Tim Mcgraw. When I first started at Confed, Jason was repairing Tim's bike because he had piled it in! I've got some pretty interesting "insider" pictures if you guys are interested. Most of the guys are still there. And they are still making $100K plus bikes. It was a fun time!!

I saw a clip of J.T. Nesbitt not too long ago on Jay Leno's sight. It was a car he was showing off instead of a bike, but it definitely looked top-notch. Any insider material you have would be great to see. Here's the Jay Leno link: http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/cars/c...nolia-special/
