They had one of the replicas at Wauseon years ago and was riding it around...not to impressive since it only goes like 5 MPH...not to mention the training wheels.......

Bill Eggers is a very talented and diversified craftsman whatever he does will be first class. That being said Daimler and motorcycle in the same sentence are a contradiction of terms. Gotlieb Daimler might agree as documented history explains, it was his intent to build a test stand for a gas motor. He ultimately became a world class auto manufacture not a motorcycle manufacturer, what does that tell you?

Go for it Bill I look forward to seeing the finished product.

They made a group of those back in the '70's for MB dealers to display. If I remember correctly the original was lost in a fire.
