What a great example of a 47 chief on E Bay.

At first glance, I thought I was looking at a machine that had been for sale on the Starklite pages a few years back. Different year ('46) and a different saddle (weathered brown buddy), however. Great machine!

I know that bike. Kelly George owns it and for all of you that know Kelly, that guy sure lnows how to build a motor. I saw and heard it at Davenport this year and its killer. I personally have no interest in the sale and do not know Kelly well at all; just a note that it is a real nice unrestored chief if someone wants one. I think only thing I noticed was I believe it did not have bonnie heads on it as Kelly ran different ("better") pistons that would not work with the bonnie heads. He may even have them as part of sale. Don't know.
