Just wanted to make everybody aware that the AMCA financial reports are now posted on the new AMCA Financial Information Page of the website (under "About" from the menu at the top of the page).
The AMCA is incorporated as a non-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code 501 (c) (7). As such, its yearly federal tax return, known as a Form 990, is open to public inspection. Anyone can view or download a copy of the Club’s 2010 return on the Financial Information page.
In addition, AMCA members may view a copy of the Club’s Balance Sheet and Income Statement for 2010. To do that, go to the Financial Information page and enter your last name and AMCA number.
The financial reports have been printed in the magazine in previous years (and will be in the Winter issue). But this is the first time they've been posted on the website.
