We at American Iron Magazine www.aimag.com. and RoadBike www.roadbikemag.com have joined forces with Wheels Through Time, Panhead City and Barber to put together a free ride the first week of October.
The first Motorcycle Kickstart Classic leaves from Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley at 10 on Thursday, October 6. We ride to Rome, GA to Panhead City for an overnight stop. Then we leave at 10 am the next morning for Barber just outside Birmingham, AL. Their famous Vintage Festival is that weekend.
The ride open to all makes, models and years of motorcycles. It is free to all. Motorcycles with kickers ride up front, electric starts in the back of the ride.
We will get a special VIP parking at Barber and possibly a special lap of the track on our old bikes.
No pre-registration or sign up needed, but you are responsible for your own safety, hotels, etc.
