I remember listening to the doc. Lotsa good stuff there. So many parody songs and off the wall sh*t. Thanks for the flash back JoJo357.

Yes CJ, the Doc was fun to listen to. Being a music buff, you would have never ever heard most of those gems Demento spun around over the years. Luckily, someone taped a helluva lot of his unique style of fun & information, so people can still enjoy his antics.

                            My favorite Muddy Waters song:

Muddy Waters - You Can't Lose What You Ain't Never Had

I first saw Muddy Waters perform in NYC back in the late '60s as well as other venues on the East Coast. I was also fortunate to see him at what had to be one of his last shows in Orlando, FL at a small club in a shopping center. Of course he was great and he had Pinetop Perkins on keyboards who was ancient at that point. Needless to say, the place was packed and in the middle of his set, Greg Allman (who was in the midst of his divorce from Cher) sat in. Soon, the place filled up with T.V. news scum, with bright lights and video cameras ruining Muddy Waters show. Everyone in the audience started throwing ice cubes, and beer at the "journalists" and they had to leave. Muddy Waters was laughing, and Greg Allman thanked the audience. One of my favorite music concerts with one of the all-time greats; Muddy Waters.
