Tom
This is the 1915 vacuum switch and it was mounted inside the generator unit with the vacuum intake only sticking out the side.
As far as I'm aware the 1915 manifold with its vacuum takeoff was also used in 1916 with a bung in the hole where the vacuum connection would have been. HD16.JPG

Truly amazing Tommo.
It will take some time to digest, so,.. many thanks in advance; Just the Remy vacuum switch at the intake manifold shocks me, and all of the rest that I do not understand opens so many windows for me.
I am certain posterity will appreciate it as well!

PS: Big Lake Bob!
Your post #79 explains this pic, Thanks!

PPS: Just to stay on topic by adding to the spark plug collection....

Tommo please post as much as your time allows, I for one enjoy seeing publications and ads from your collection of days' gone by. Great history, glad you are sharing. This is where I think the 'like' icon is valuable so Tommo keeps posting!

Somehow the text got all split up
While not strictly ads this early HD stuff maybe something you haven't seen before. and although I tried to post them in age order they have also got mixed up.
Enjoy and if you want more just say so.
