Truly amazing Tommo.
It will take some time to digest, so,.. many thanks in advance; Just the Remy vacuum switch at the intake manifold shocks me, and all of the rest that I do not understand opens so many windows for me.
I am certain posterity will appreciate it as well!

Tom
This is the 1915 vacuum switch and it was mounted inside the generator unit with the vacuum intake only sticking out the side.
As far as I'm aware the 1915 manifold with its vacuum takeoff was also used in 1916 with a bung in the hole where the vacuum connection would have been. HD16.JPGPeter Thomson, a.k.a. Tommo

Looks like a vacuum leak waiting to happen, Tommo!
I thought all of the punctured manifolds were for one of these things:

Very cool H-D ads Robbie! Horsehide jackets from my Dad's (late '40s) era, two of which I'm proud to still have... belts too.
Kinda glad he didn't opt for the "gay orange plastic trim" though.Last edited by droptopford; 11-14-2021, 04:30 PM.

Previous to 1932 Ira Enmark was the Excelsior dealer in the Minneapolis area.
